About me:
Hi,

My name is Laura, Bachelor Social Work and I get energy from helping and guiding children and their parents.

During and after my studie as a Social Wroker I encountered different facets of problems. During my studies I followed the Minor Youth Care in Suriname and I wrote my thesis about the importance of parent involvement. In the Netherlands I worked in the pediatric nursing department of the hospital, a primary school, a residential group for young adults with autism and then I set up a coaching program on Curacao for siblings. This therapeutic program was offered to siblings and parents of children with a disability aged 5 to 18 years. In addition, I have followed various courses.

I am currently working at a local school on Curacao as a mentor and internship supervisor for teenagers and young adults.
